Tat's got to hurt! Man hangs himself from MEAT HOOKS while model with tattooed eyeballs

Striking: German tattoo model Magneto - whose entire face, including eyeballs, have been covered in ink - poses for the cameras at this year's Israeli tattoo convention in Tel Aviv
Taking the strain: Elsewhere at the convention, a member of Israel's first 'suspension crew' - nicknamed the Suicide Squad - dangles from meat hooks embedded in his forearms

Weird and wonderful: As well as the intricate tattoos across his face, 'Magneto' is also covered with piercings, including flesh plugs in his nose, ears and lower lip

Just a little bit more: Magneto, a German tattoo model, has piercings added just underneath each eye at the Tel Aviv tattoo convention
ying out in pain while the suspension bars were inserted into his thighs, before being lifted up using meat hooks inserted through his forearms and forehead.
To new extremes: Magneto has built up his collection of artworks over several years. He was pictured at the Berlin tattoo convention back in 2010 without much of the ink on his face or eyes

Another woman could be seen walking through the crowd with a series of metal loops pierced through her back, with red and black silk thread carefully woven between them.
A website for the convention explains that the first event was held in December last year after the rising popularity of tattooing over the last decade in Israel, with dozens of shops opening for artists to ply their trade.
The inaugural event attracted a crowd of 1,500 people, with more than 20 stalls by local artists, as well as performances by alternative bands. While no official attendance figures have been released for this year, organisers said they were expecting to beat last year's total.
