Beloved two-faced cat that was only meant to live a few days dies of cancer aged 15 after setting Guinness World Record

'Frankenlouie' - for Frank and Louie - who was born with two faces, two mouths, two noses and three eyes, was euthanized in North Grafton, Massachusetts, after a long, healthy life. He was brought in by a breeder to be euthanized in September 1999, but the vet nurse, Marty Stevens (pictured) decided to take him in, not expecting the feline to live.

Brave acid attack survivor Katie Piper announces she is ENGAGED to her carpenter boyfriend

The 31-year-old acid attack victim turned TV presenter (pictured right) shared her happy news on Twitter this morning where she told fans her boyfriend had got down on one knee, while they spent a romantic evening in at their home in London. She tweeted (inset): 'So excited to tell you all.............. I became someone's fiancé last night! I'm engaged to be married'. Ms Piper, who has a daughter with her partner named Belle (pictured together left), was just 24 when her ex-boyfriend Danny Lynch organised for a man to throw industrial-strength sulphuric acid in her face.

Hugh and Hazel Wharton, (right) went missing while flying their four-seater plane over western Washington in 1959. Their daughter Joyce Wharton (left) says only her father's wallet and some buttons were found. In 1997 Nick Buchanan, a logger, was hiking when he saw a small cedar tree. 'I'm digging in the roots and flipped that ring out,' he said. Buchanan said he realized it belonged to the couple and for nearly 20 years he kept the ring (inset) safe until his nephew helped him track Joyce Waron down recently.

Beyonce, Sam Smith and Pharrell to battle it out for Album Of The Year as they lead the Grammy nominations with six nods each

British soul-pop artist Sam Smith, R&B star Beyonce and singer-producer Pharrell Williams are all set to battle it out at this year's Grammys - with each nominated for six awards.

All three are up for the prestigious top prize of Album of the Year, making for an exciting evening.

The Recording Academy announced the nominations Friday evening, as TV viewers watched Sam Smith and Pharrell perform at the star-studded A Very Grammy Christmas in Los Angeles.

Mario Balotelli charged by English FA over 'racist' instagram post

Is what he posted (left) racist though? English FA seem to think so. Liver Pool striker striker Mario Balotelli has been charged by the Football Association for posting an image of the Nintendo character, Super Mario on instagram and writing "jumps like a black man and grabs coins like a jew”

Just a few hours after Balotelli posted it on December 1, many people said they found it offensive and accused him of Racism and Antisemitism.
