In Bayelsa Jonathan's mother commissions borehole in native community

President Goodluck Jonathan’s mother, Eunice Jonathan, has applauded the military Joint Task Force (JTF) for donating a borehole to her native community, Akipelai in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
While commissioning the borehole, the President’s mother urged the youths in the community to protect it against vandalism.
She thanked the JTF Commander, Major General Emmanuel Atewe, for his relentless efforts in eradicating criminalities and oil theft in Niger Delta.
Speaking at the ceremony, Atewe commended the community for cooperating with him on his Zero Tolerance Campaign against illegalities.
He described oil theft is economic sabotage against the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Boko Haram Troops rescue another 234 women, children in Sambisa Forest

The military has rescued another set of 234 women and children in Sambisa Forest as troops intensify onslaught to flush out theBoko Haram terrorists from their strongholds.
According to a statement from the Defence Headquarters, the women and children have been evacuated to join other women and children, who were rescued last week, at the screen screening centre.
DHQ said, “This set is in addition to the previous individuals earlier rescued during the ongoing operation in the area.”

With her honey blonde tresses plaited and sitting under a black beanie, she hid her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses as she made a quick dash for her waiting chauffeur-driven SUV.
Following closely behind was her rapper and entrepreneur husband, who sported a grey V-neck T-shirt with light blue faded jeans and white Nike hi-tops.
While the 45-year-old rocked a more simple look than his wife, he was seen with one particularly eye-catching accessory - his golden Apple Watch edition, which retails at an eye-watering $17,000.

She remembers him as a mild mannered boy who wouldn’t dare interrupt his father - let alone an awards ceremony - and always called her 'Miss Brenda.'
She recalls: 'We were on the Metro because we were going to a parade downtown.
'He was with his father, so he knew he had to behave. Ray wasn’t too strict as a dad, and it was summer – so that was playtime.
