Sylvester ‘Sly’ Ojigbede Classic FM confirms death of OAP

 

Classic FM has confirmed the death of its top OAP Sylvester ‘Sly’ Ojigbede.
The station released a press statement today, May 4, 2015 reveals the time of his death, and passing their condolence to Sylvester's extended family, wife and children.

"Classic FM 97.3 deeply regret to announce the passing of one of our Presenters Slyvester Ojigbede popularly known as SLY, who was the host of the ‘Morning Show’ and Saturday morning show ‘Saturday Express’ on our station.
Sly passed away on Sunday the 3rd of May after a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and extended family at this difficult time.
May his soul rest in peace.

Master Idowu Sonoiki, a 16-year-old student of Ikotun Senior High School, Ikotun, has been 'paid' N200,000 after emerging the ‘One-Day Governor’ in Lagos State for 2015.
Sonoiki, a Senior Secondary 1 student, won the title after beating 55 others students contestants from public secondary school across the state's  six educational districts to the 15th edition of the annual Spelling Bee competition
The Ogun state indigene was announced winner at the final state of the competition which was held last week at the secretariat complex, Alausa, Ikeja.
Sonoiki will perform the pseudo roles of a state governor for one day in September.
His cabinet members will include the first to the fifth runners-up.

The Olympic gold medalist announced her split from the golfing great in a Facebook post on Sunday, saying the break up was mutual. 'I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart,' Vonn wrote. 'I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.'

Allison 'Ally' Willen from Akron, Ohio, went on an expedition with her two flatmates on the Gillespie Pass in Mount Aspiring National Park when they were suddenly hit by bad weather on April 25.The 20-year-old, who was taking a semester abroad at the University of Otago in Dunedin, then became separated from the pair who managed to walk to safety and ask for help. Her body was discovered on Saturday high up in the valley near a backpack and raincoat that had been found earlier in the week.
