Orphans who survived Ebola in Sierra Leone are starving to death amid harvest shortages and some are being forced into the sex industry to pay for food. Ibrahim, 13, and Aminata, 10, lost both parents to the Ebola virus and were quarantined for two back-to-back periods of 21 days. Their uncle, Mohammed Lamin, lost his harvest during the quarantine and struggled to feed the pair, who died in February. They were survived by two siblings, Jane (right), 8, and Fatamata (left), 3. They too now suffer the effects of malnutrition, eating only one meal a day.

ABUJA—The nation’s governors, yesterday, put aside the two-year feud that factionalised the Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF, and demanded an account of the estimated $20 billion they claimed accrued to the Excess Crude Account, ECA, while the NGF crisis lasted.
The demand which was directed at the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was immediately rebuffed by the minister, who asked the governors to seek clarification from their finance commissioners.

Two Nigerian students are among four foreign students allegedly duped by a real estate agent and his aide in India.
According to a report by Times of India, the Nigerian students,Nasa Chinasa and Cosy Linda were scammed alongside two Ghanaians, Reverend Daniel and Reverend Osama, and an Indian student identified as Rose.
The agent, Punit Nandwani, collected several sums totalling 278,000 Indian Rupees (about N866,000) from the students.
He was contracted to secure suitable flats for them.
But Nandwani disappeared and switched off his cell phone after collecting their monies and has since been on the run.
Chinasa, a second-year Bachelor of Arts student at a city college, then reported the case to officers at the Kondhwa police station.
