Though they had their manifesto with which they campaigned, they still needed to get the input of most Nigerians on the core social, economic and political issues bedeviling the country. And to get more insights on how to solve them, they gathered many talents and brainstormed for two days. Below is the fallout of the event organised by the Policy, Research and Strategy Directorate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja.
The human assemblage was rich. The topics were many and the discussions were robust. That was the atmosphere that defined the two-day policy dialogue on the implementation of the “Agenda for Change” held between Wednesday and Thursday in the passing week.
Venue was the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, and the organizer was the Policy, Research and Strategy Directorate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council under the directorship of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
Themed “Implementing Change: From Vision to Reality”, the dialogue x-rayed various grounds for rapid economic, social and political development and growth of Nigeria in the incoming administration of General Muhammadu Buhari.

The unnamed man was caught emerging from the toilet after indulging in his disgusting habit. It is believed that the man has been involved in the infamous act for eight years.
“A man has been spotted on multiple occasions entering the ladies’ restroom at a shopping centre in the Pengjiang district of Jiangmen city and eating excrement found in the toilet.
“According to a security guard at the shopping plaza, the man has been spotted visiting the toilets since early this year.
“He goes to the second floor ladies’ room to find faeces to eat. He usually comes between 8am and 10am during the first half of the day, and then comes again at around 3pm,” the guard said.

Buruji Kashamu: Senator-elect placed under house arrest, threatens suicide

Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu has now been placed under house arrest following an invasion of his home by officials of theNational Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) earlier today, May 23, 2015.
Kashamu is said to have threatened to kill himself rather than surrender and be extradited to the US, according to Sahara Reporters.
The NDLEA officials have surrounded Kashamu’s home onOladipo Omotosho Street in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos in a bid to arrest and extradite him to face drug charges levelled against him.
Kashamu’s home has also been cordoned off with crime scene tape by the security agents.
However, the NDLEA officials have reportedly been unable to arrest the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain due to his suicide threat and their lack of a warrant.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Finance minister to return to US after Buhari's inauguration

Report says the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iwealahas concluded plans to return to the United States after the May 29 inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari.
Also billed to jet out of the country after the swearing in are President Goodluck Jonathan, who had said he will take a much deserved rest, and Vice President Namani Sambo.
It is believed that most officials of the Jonathan administration are traveling out of the country to avoid prosecution by the incoming government.
Sambo is said to be traveling to London on May 31. Report says he also going to rest and billed to be back in the country after two weeks.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice-President on Media and Publicity, Umar Sani, dismissed insinuations that the VP may be traveling to evade Buhari’s prosecution.
