Chris Brown looks glum at court hearing despite getting a good review ...as judge ups his community labor to four days a week

A judge said Chris Brown has been doing well and following his probation rules since his last hearing in August. The 25-year-old R&B singer appeared in a Los Angeles court on Thursday for a progress report stemming from his assault on Rihanna back in 2009. According to TMZ, Judge James Brandlin bumped the Grammy winner's community labor requirement from three to four days a week so he could complete the sentence by the end of his probation period in January. Sporting a somber facial expression, Chris sat next to his lawyer Mark Geragos as Judge Brandlin also pointed out that he violated his probation by getting a speeding ticket, reported the website. It's been a tumultuous year for the embattled singer as he was jailed for nearly three months for violating his probation after getting into an altercation outside a Washington, D.C., hotel in October 2013. At the time he was still on probation for attacking pop singer Rihanna, his then-girlfriend, right before the 2009 Grammy Awards.
