MTN iPulseIntroducing Slash In Call/Data Rates In Higher Institutions
At 11kobo per second to any network in Nigeria, after the first minute, and N2 SMS rate in addition to free megabytes and access to social networking apps including Facebook, students will now be able to derive maximum satisfaction from every recharge within the campus environment. This is because MTN has repackaged its iPulse offering to meet popular demand among students.
Seen as an improvement of the Pulse introduced a couple of years ago, the offering gives special priority to the over 500 campuses; universities, polytechnics, college of education, school of nursing, police academy and more in Nigeria.
According to Bayo Adekanmbi, the Chief Marketing Officer of the telecommunications and ICT company:
“through the iPulse, MTN has now made it easier for students in the tertiary institutions to access data and call services at the most affordable price ever on any network in the country”.
Consequently, university campuses in all regions in the country will now be optimised on the network coverage to give students increased access to better connectivity which will support academic and social activities within the school environment.
