Beloved two-faced cat that was only meant to live a few days dies of cancer aged 15 after setting Guinness World Record

'Frankenlouie' - for Frank and Louie - who was born with two faces, two mouths, two noses and three eyes, was euthanized in North Grafton, Massachusetts, after a long, healthy life. He was brought in by a breeder to be euthanized in September 1999, but the vet nurse, Marty Stevens (pictured) decided to take him in, not expecting the feline to live.
Known as a Janus cat - named for a Roman god with two faces - he went on to become her beloved pet and developed a strong personality, but was euthanized at the same clinic where Stevens met him on Thursday after falling gravely ill.
