Human part dealers arrested in Lagos

These men take delight in selling human parts.


Two men who have been dealing in human parts for several years have been arrested by the police in Lagos.
The suspects who were arrested over the weekend with a human skull by operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, (SARS), of Lagos State Police Command, have confessed that they travel to far places like Cotonou in Benin Republic, to purchase the parts which they later sell to their customers.
One of the suspects, Dipo Olorunto, 35, confessed that he bought the human skull for  N12, 500, and was on the way to deliver it to his customer, an herbalist by the name Baba Isegun, who had bargained to buy it for N20, 000.
The suspected buyer was also arrested at the Atan Ota area of Ogun State.
Olorunto said:
"Baba Isegun told me to bring a human skull for him to buy. He said he uses it to treat sicknesses such as madness. I work as a farmer in Atan Ota area. It was a friend who introduced me to Baba Isegun that I could help him get human parts.
I had to go to Cotonou to buy the head. I wanted to sell it to him for N20, 000. But police arrested me before I got to him."
