Veronica Rutledge (centre) was killed on Tuesday when her 2-year-old son reached into her purse while shopping at an Idaho Walmart and fired the gun hidden inside. It has now been revealed that the handbag was a gift from her husband
Colt (left) for Christmas, and that it was specially-designed to conceal a weapon (a file image of a similar bag not believed to be the same model given to Rutledge is pictured center). In the wake of her tragic death, Rutledge's family have defended her Second Amendment right to carry a gun.
