Police hunting for new mother caught on CCTV as she vanished from hospital while carrying her four-day-old baby discover a woman's body in Avon Gorge - but there is no sign of a child

Officers had been searching for Charlotte Bevan after she walked out of Bristol Maternity Hospital dressed only in thin hospital slippers, with her newborn daughter wrapped in a blanket. CCTV footage taken at the hospital shows Miss Bevan (inset centre), 30, clutching four-day-old Zaani Tiana as she calmly walked off the ward, past several nurses (left) and left the hospital through a main entrance. Her disappearance more than 24 hours ago on Tuesday night sparked a widespread police search (centre and right) as her worried mother and boyfriend pleaded with her to come home.
