The beauty of Earth from the skies: Photographer captures stunning images of African deserts, plunging waterfalls and Arctic snowscapes from 3,000ft



Acclaimed travel and nature photographer Peter Adams, from the Cotswolds, travelled thousands of miles to document the varied surfaces of the planet. From high above, Yellowstone's Grand Prismatic Spring looks like an alien volcano, tourists look like ants next to a magnificent waterfall in Iceland, and glaciers look like a series of streams as they carve through the ground below.
