Suge Knight was shot six times in August while attending Brown's MTV Video Music Awards party in Los Angeles.
Five people also were shot in January while Brown was performing at another party he hosted in Northern California.

Brown reportedly ordered his manager to pull the plug on future nightclub shows after the five people were shot in San Jose.
The Forever singer took to Instagram in January to announce that the 25-show Between The Sheets Tour had been postponed.
'The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service,' he wrote.

He tweeted on February 6 that he had completed all his community service and was ready for the tour.
The community service requirement was part of his sentence after pleading guilty to felony assault in 2009 for attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The Between The Sheets Tour had Brown and Trey as co-headliners in support of their sixth studio albums X and Trigga.
