Big show: Supermodel Naomi Campbell was filmed as she recalled making her New York Fashion Week debut. The clip is a part of Moda Operandi's new video series titled Fashion Firsts
'I do remember so clearly that first moment when you push those first doors,' said Diane, 68, of the project.
In her clip, she recalled going to the Vogue offices to show the magazine's legendary Editor-in-Chief Diana Vreeland her designs.
'I went in with my suitcase, and they put me in her office. It was very intimidating with all these colors, actually it was pretty much like this,' she said looking around her room's decor.
She continued: 'All of a sudden, in comes this woman smoking a big, huge cigarette with a little cigarette holder, black hair, and the red nail polish with the red lips. And the first thing she did was she pushed my face up and said: "Chin up, up, up!" And I thought: "Oh, this is not going well."'
