According to reports from Nigeria's Leadership newspaper, the terrorist group Boko Haram have re-regroup at their main camp in the Sambisa forest where it looks like they are ready for a final showdown with the Nigerian army.
The impressive progress of the Nigerian troops were halted by the discovery of landmines along the route.
It appears the Nigerian troops have ruled out bombing the area dues to the prospects of still finding Boko Haram captives
