His Excellency 16-yr-old student ‘paid’ N200,000 to govern Lagos for 1 day

Master Idowu Sonoiki, a 16-year-old student of Ikotun Senior High School, Ikotun, has been 'paid' N200,000 after emerging the ‘One-Day Governor’ in Lagos State for 2015.
Sonoiki, a Senior Secondary 1 student, won the title after beating 55 others students contestants from public secondary school across the state's  six educational districts to the 15th edition of the annual Spelling Bee competition
The Ogun state indigene was announced winner at the final state of the competition which was held last week at the secretariat complex, Alausa, Ikeja.
Sonoiki will perform the pseudo roles of a state governor for one day in September.
His cabinet members will include the first to the fifth runners-up.
The 'governor-in-waiting'' received a medal, N200,000 and a trophy for his effort while the first runners up and second runners up, Masters Abdullaidi Faaizi from Omole Senior High School, Ojodu, and Fehinti Dahunsi from Lagos Senior Model College, Konkon, Badagry, got a medal, trophy, N150,000 and 100,000, respectively.
Now in its 15th season, the Spelling Bee competition was initiated in by Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was then the governor of the state.
