Twenty-five members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2015 Batch A stream 1 have been dismissed from the orientation camp in Jigawa state for indiscipline.
Student Pulse gathered their dismissal was announced on the 20th of May.
According to the Camp Director, the corps members were found guilty of acts of indiscipline after facing the camp court panel.
He added that five (5) others were suspended.
During the morning parade on Wednesday, the camp judge said the dismissed corps members would have to return their kits as well as their transport and bicycle allowance (N2500) before leaving camp.
Those under suspension will remain in camp and pass out with rest of the Batch A Stream 1 on Monday 25th of May.
Some of the dismissed corps members, mostly females, reportedly claimed they were being punished for sleeping in their rooms while camp activities were going on due to illnesses.
