Murder Attempt Student arrested for poisoning teacher's tea with eye drop

New Jersey Police have arrested a student who poured eye drop into his teacher’s tea in an apparent murder attempt.

The accused, a student at Central Regional High School, was charged with aggravated assault after he laced his teacher's coffee with the saline solution on Tuesday.

Reports say the solution may have been Visine eye drops.

The unsuspecting teacher drank the beverage and had to be treated at the hospital after feeling some discomfort.
