The rapper, Dr. Kanye West, headed to the podium to speak to the students on Friday May 29 at the commencement speech of the graduation ceremony.
He had been teaching classes there as apart of the 250-hour community service sentence he received in March 2014 after he attacked a paparazzo at LAX.
In the speech, he said:
He also spoke on his daughter:
"Artists or the most successful artists are close to who they were when they were five-years-old, four-years-old, three-years-old or when my daughter wakes up and decides to make a career seven times a day so I feel extremely honored to see new talent fighting for their voice that I can only imagine they've been fighting for since age three."
