A Taiwo Awoniyi brace at the New Plymouth's Taranaki Stadium in New Zealand ensured that the Flying Eagles finish in second place with Brazil first.
Awoniyi opened his scoing in the 17th minute dribbling past his marker to volley in at the near post from Saviour Godwin's teasing low cross.

The Flying Eagles will face their German counterparts in the second round on Thursday, June 11.
Despite finishing third in Group E, the Hungarians still qualify as one of the best third-placed teams and will face Group D winners Serbia in the second round.
