Heart-warming moment terminal breast cancer patient gets surprise visit from her horse in hospice

Catriona Craig, who has been a keen rider since childhood, stroked her favourite horse Ed as her husband David and daughter Louise looked on at St Richard's Hospice in Worcester. The 62-year-old has terminal breast cancer and has been receiving care at the hospice for the last two weeks. Staff believe being close with animals can have a huge impact on a patient's well-being and supported David's idea for a reunion between his wife and Ed, a 20-year-old event horse.
