John Obi Mikel Chelsea midfielder shuns Super Eagles for Dubai vacation with girlfriend

Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel has shunned his national team duties to rather be with girlfriend.
The midfielder according to Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi did not respond to calls to represent his country in the upcoming 2017 African Cup of Nationsqualifiers against Chad.
Keshi during a press conference on Thursday, May 21 at the Bolton White Apartment Hotel Abuja revealed that he has been shunned by the midfielder.
When I heard that Mikel was injured I tried severally to get him on phone to ask after his health but surprisingly he did not pick the calls," Kkeshi said at a press conference last month.
"I sent text messages too but up till now that I speak with you he hasn’t called back or sent me text."
The midfielder after a post-season engagement with Chelsea, has jetted out to Dubai with his girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko for a vacation.
Olga has posted a series of photos of herself and her boyfriend on a summer trip to Dubai.
In one of her photos, the loved up pair was standing behind the tallest man-made structure in the world, Burj Khalifa which is located in Dubai.
"Obligatory selfie next to the tallest building in the world and the the biggest fountain, basically all things large and all," Mikel's Russian girlfriend wrote alongside the snap.
Mikel Obi has been injured all season and just returned to playing at the end of the season, so a summer rest is not an excuse for snubbing the national team as he has been resting all season.
The Jos born football has chosen to spend time with his girlfriend rather than play for the Super Eagles.
