Earlier on Wednesday, the First Lady, Sasha, Malia and Mrs Obama's mom Marian Robinson met with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife and daughter.
The group paid a short visit to the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie to see Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper.
Michelle Obama was also seen cooking up a storm at a healthy cooking expo in Milan with American chefs Mario Batali and John Besh and a group of 7th and 8th graders from the American School in Milan.
'Are you guys ready to cook with us?' the First Lady said. 'I'm not really an executive chef. I just hang out with them.'

Italy was the second leg of the First Lady's European trip that puts an international spin on her core White House initiatives - including eating wisely.

Michelle and her daughters left the UK on Wednesday morning after a two-day whistle-stop tour, arriving in Italy a few hours later on Air Force One.
During her brief visit to London, Mrs Obama enjoyed tea with Prince Harry and had an affectionate reunion with David and Samantha Cameron on the steps of 10 Downing Street.
At the restaurant in Milan on Wednesday, Mrs Obama spoke about the importance of eating as a family and said that the First family sits down together to dine each night but admitted that sometimes the President eats his meal too quickly, ABC News reported.
'We've preserved our family dinner time. No matter what the president is doing, between 6.30pm and 7pm, he stops.
'We come up, we sit down, we have a meal,' she told students assembled at the restaurant.
'You're actually tasting it and you probably eat less because you're not just shoveling. Shoveling is probably not a good thing. We don't shovel.'
