The heartbroken puppy who remained loyal to the end: Visibly grieving dog refuses to move away from its owner's side after the man is run over and killed in Chile

The puppy, called Doki, was pictured by emergency crews who were called to the scene of a fatality by the side of a road in Concepción, Chile. Images show the heartbroken dog lying down next to the body of 23-year-old Leonardo Valdes - even after his corpse had been covered with a plastic sheet. Emergency crews were so moved by the loyalty of the animal that they posted pictures on their Facebook page.
