Ooni of Ife honours 2baba as Peace Ambassador (photo)

– Nigerian iconic singer 2baba has been given another Peace Ambassador honour by the Ooni of Ife – This is coming almost a year after he was named Ambassador of peace in Kaduna state by HRH Bagudu Galadima, the Sarkin of Kudenda kingdom – His #Vote Not Fight – Election No Be War campaign won him both titles

Legendary singer 2baba has been honoured again  on Thursday, September, 29 by the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. 2baba was hounoured as a peace ambassador by the monarch for his #VoteNotFight campaign he had being doing even long before the electoral periods. In 2015, the singer, through his 2face Foundation and a few other organisations, flagged off the ‘#Vote Not Fight – Election No Be War’ campaign advocating a peaceful electoral process.
To buttress his print the campaign in the heart of the youth’s 2baba employed music as tool when he dropped a song of same title encouraging youths to not be used as pawns by politicians.
This same movement earned the African Queen singer a chieftaincy title in Kaduna state in 2015. He was turbaned as the Tafindan Kudenda meaning Ambassador of peace in Kaduna state by HRH Bagudu Galadima, the Sarkin of Kudenda kingdom.
