Murder Attempt Student arrested for poisoning teacher's tea with eye drop
New Jersey Police have arrested a student who poured eye drop into his teacher’s tea in an apparent murder attempt.
The accused, a student at Central Regional High School, was charged with aggravated assault after he laced his teacher's coffee with the saline solution on Tuesday.
Reports say the solution may have been Visine eye drops.
Failed Overtaking Lorry crushes female AAU student to death
A young lady believed to be a student of theAmbrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has died in an accident involving a lorry.
The unidentified student was crushed to death in the accident that occurred on Monday evening along Uhumudumun Road in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
According to an eyewitness the accident happened when the motorcycle carrying the girl collided with another motorcycle he was trying to overtake.
The girl then fell off the motorcycle and was crushed by the oncoming tipper.
Lagos Sex Offender Painter faces life imprisonment for raping 14-yr-old student
A 27-year-old painter accused of defiling a 14-year-old secondary school student is facing life imprisonment for the crime.
Jamiu Kamorudeen, a resident of No. 7, Edita St., Alakoro, Ebute-Ero on Lagos Island, was arraigned at a Tinubu Magistrates' Court on a two-count charge of conspiracy and defilement.
The Prosecutor, Sergeant Aondohemba Koti, said the accused and an accomplice still at large committed the offence on the 26th of April at Oke Arunde St., Lagos Island, around 8:00 p.m.
Koti said the accused had unlawful carnal knowledge of the teenager without her consent.
