Muhammadu Buhari Nigerian students demand youth inclusion in governance

Nigeran students have called on President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, ensure youth inclusion in his government.
The National Vice President (external) of theNational Association of Nigerian Students(NANS), Comrade Ogunkuade Oluwatosin, made the call at a weekend press briefing in Abuja.
Oluwatosin noted that students and youths can play a major role and should not be excluded from governance.
”Students can influence governance at all levels in Nigeria using the social media to monitor policy," he said
"While youths have bubbling enthusiasm which has to be utilised because we are fully of revolutionary thoughts to shape the world positively."
According to the student leader, it is only fair that Buhari ensure adequate youth participation in his government.
”Therefore, we demand a notable percentage of youth inclusion in the governance of General Muhammadu Buhari; and demand for students, interactive session with the President-elect to make our input in the transition process."
He also called on Buhari "to justify the confidence of Nigerians by prioritising education and delivering on his electoral promises to all Nigerians."
Buhari will be sworn in on May 29, after winning the March 28 Presidential elections.
