Woman drowns after car she was having sex with husband rolls into river

A Russian woman who was having sex in a car with her husband has drowned after the car rolled into a river, reports Mail Online.

The couple were reportedly drinking during a picnic beside a river in the southwest Russian village of Yelizavetinskaya, when the decided to have a quick one in the vehicle but did not realise that the handbrake of the vehicle was off.

It while in the heat of passion that the car roll into the river with the husband just managing to escape death.

The traumatised husband told police he and his wife were too drunk and didn't realise the car had rolled into the river until water began flooding in.

As the car began to fill with water he managed to open a window and clamber out but when  he tried to rescue his 35-year-old wife, he found that he could no longer reach her as the car had sunk to the bottom of the river.

Police spokesman Natalia Smyatskaya said:

"We received a call from the distraught husband saying his wife had drowned in a lake.

When officers arrived, they found a large number of empty bottles at the scene and the man admitted they had been drinking quite heavily. It is likely that the reason he was unable to save her was because of his inebriated state."

The car was pulled out of the river and the woman's body was taken to a local morgue.
