Extraordinary moment 'illegal immigrants' cut their way out of a lorry as it waited at traffic lights on a quiet Cotswolds road

The men cut two holes in the side of the lorry, which had a Romanian number plate, before leaping free from the truck (main image) while it stopped at the lights on the A429 near Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds, around ten miles from where model Kate Moss lives in nearby Little Farringdon. Eight suspected illegal immigrants were arrested, as was the lorry driver who was arrested on suspicion of committing an immigration offence. They were being held in custody and are expected to be handed over to Immigration Enforcement officers.
